Attaching a tassel to your shawl

Attaching the Tassel to the Top Corner of your Shawl

Use the yarn end from the tassel top and pull it through the loop between the two stitches at the top corner of your shawl. Gently tie a knot to secure the tassel in place - not too tight, just enough to hold it firmly. Then, using a tapestry needle, weave the yarn ends down into the top of the tassel to hide them neatly. Finally, give your tassel a little trim to even out the ends and make it look nice and tidy.

Tip: Give it a gentle shake to let the strands fall naturally before trimming.
